# PatientCapsule > PatientCapsule is the patient portal of MediOra Health. It helps people discover new treatment options through clinical trials – for example when previous therapies are not working as hoped. It explains how clinical trials work and presents selected studies testing new treatment approaches. With a short questionnaire, people can check without obligation whether a study might suit them; the nearest participating study site then gets in touch. Languages: German (https://trials.mediorahealth.com/de/) and English (https://trials.mediorahealth.com/en/). Key facts: - Every study shows its status: recruiting, opening soon or not recruiting. Enquiries are possible for recruiting studies. The studies overview can be searched by condition and by postcode (all studies of the country, nearest study sites first). - An enquiry is free and without obligation. The questionnaire sends an enquiry; it is not an enrolment or a medical decision, and answers are not assessed automatically; the study site checks eligibility in a medical consultation, and participation requires written informed consent. - Questionnaire answers are sent and stored encrypted; only the participating study site that handles the enquiry and the MediOra Health team see them. Study sponsors receive only aggregated figures – no names, contact details or answers. Personal details are deleted six months after an enquiry is closed, or 14 days after a withdrawal. - Study pool: visitors can join on the home page without an enquiry, choosing the conditions they are interested in (confirmation by email, twelve months, leave at any time). Members are told by email when a clinical study that may interest them is looking for participants. - Without consent, only the cookie that stores the cookie choice is set (Cookiebot). With consent, Google Analytics and advertising measurement (Google Ads, Meta, OpenAI) are used; questionnaire answers and contact details are never passed to them. - PatientCapsule gives no medical advice and does not run studies; studies are run by the participating study sites. - Contact: trials@mediorahealth.com - Operator: MediOra Health.
